I had spent a good bit of time wandering the Gravelly Range for some places to photograph the wonderful collection of wildflowers growing in the mountain meadows. As the sun was going down through the clouds, I headed back to a location I'd found early in the day that had a quantity of lupines as well as a mix of many other flowers.
Some storms had been passing through the area, so there were a few clouds as well as some mist rising from the valley that helped add some character to this spectacular view looking to the west. |
