Nature panorama of Lake George and Trout Lake from Cat Mountain

The beautiful panorama from the open summit of Cat Mountain in the Lake George area is one of the most expansive in the Adirondacks. This is a property that was protected in 2003 by the Lake George Land Conservancy - one of many parcels protected by the Conservancy in the past decade. The hike up to the summit can be enjoyed in any season of the year. While the view is on the east side of the summit, there are a couple of other vantage points that offer views to the southwest and to the north.
